Work with Laura at Coastal Concierge! Last October, we decided to throw a surprise party for my Mom who had always planned at being in Germany for Oktoberfest to celebrate her 60th birthday. My parents recently moved full time to Westhampton Beach, and when my Aunt was doing research for event planners in the area she found Laura.. who lived just down the street!
Laura had a vision for our event from the beginning – she infused so much class into the setup. Notable suggestions included the 60th Pretzel wall, the beer barrel cocktail tables, and the beautiful use of sunflowers throughout. We have a few restrictions with the event (not able to use the kitchen at all) and Laura was quick to come up with solutions so our food was still hot. And what delicious food it was! Her caterer was incredible – German food is a difficult cuisine – and her event staff even dressed up as beer maids for the occasion, which added to the festiveness.
Planning beforehand with Laura was incredibly easy – she setup regular touch base calls with us and was very responsive to email. As an event planner myself, I had expected to help with setup on the day of but Laura had that covered! I could not believe it, I barely lifted a hand and the set up was truly stunning. Thank you Laura and team from the bottom of our hearts! It was an incredible memory for my Mom and we will all cherish it forever.
